The space
As soon as you arrive in the entrance hall, you will be seduced by the mountain atmosphere of this log chalet combining tradition and modernity! From here, the different levels of the house are served:
On the lower level you will find an open plan LARGE LIVING ROOM with:
• A lounge area with large comfortable sofa, leather armchair, coffee table and large TV screen (the fireplace will not be usable)
• A library area
• A dining area with a large wooden table and seat
• A kitchen area with all the necessary equipment (oven, gas hob, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, crockery and utensils, etc...) A scullery enlarges the space and offers other storage spaces.
• Access to the garden and terraces
At the intermediate level, you will have:
• Separate toilets
• A bathroom with shower cubicle, sink and washing machine
• A large bedroom illuminated by two large bay windows offering a superb view and furnished with a large Queen-size bed (160 x 200cm), a TABLE FOOTBALL, a sofa that can be opened into a bed (140cm x 220 cm with comfortable mattress topper), a small desk and a storage sideboard. A curtain between the 2 sleeping areas can enhance privacy.
On the upper levels, you will have access to all the other rooms:
• A 2nd small bedroom with single bed (90x190 cm), desk and wardrobe
• A 3rd small bedroom with single bed (90x190 cm), cupboard and mezzanine equipped with a mattress (120 x 190 cm)
• A 4th small bedroom with double bed (140x190 cm), chest of drawers and balcony
• A 5th large master bedroom with Queen-size bed (160x200 cm), chest of drawers, closet, balcony and
• A bathroom adjoining the latter with a bath, a shower, a toilet, double sinks and above all an infra-red SAUNA
(WARNING! This room will be completely redone by the rental period so will no longer be consistent with the photos but will have the same equipment)
• A 6th bedroom, accessible by a last staircase, with a queen-size bed (160x200 cm), small desk, screen, armchair and shelf.
(WARNING! This room has an attic: H max 182 cm – You have to bend down to get through the door)
Outside, you will access
• through the living room to a terrace on one level with the SWIMMING POOL (unheated) of 4.5 m x 4.5m (1.30 deep) and secured by a bar tarpaulin. She is not overlooked.
• through the dining room, to a terrace with OUTDOOR DINING AREA, GARDEN FURNITURE and BARBECUE.
Please note that, for your comfort:
- The house has WIFI
- You will benefit from AIR CONDITIONING in: the main room, the 1st bedroom (with table football) and in the master bedroom.
- Linen is provided (beds will be made and towels will be at your disposal)
- Check-in and check-out times can be flexible (on request) except in case of cross-arrival and departure.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
A small studio apartment is attached to the property. The tenants of this apartment do not have vis-à-vis on the terraces and swimming pool, however, the property is not enclosed by a fence but by a fence. It will be advisable to give your children limits if necessary.
Vimines is a village made up of several hamlets that dominates the departmental capital Chambéry. It has the advantage of being less than 5 km from the center of a large city and at the same time at the foot of the hiking trails of the Chartreuse Regional Natural Park, so you will be:
- 15 minutes by car from the city centre of Chambéry, the historic capital of Savoy, with a rich ducal past and a wide architectural heritage
- 20/25 minutes by voiture.de the city of Aix les Bains, Riviera of the Alps with its casino, golf course, spas and thermal baths as well as Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France with its beaches
- 25 minutes from the beaches of Lake Aiguebelette
- From 5 minutes by car from the Chartreuse Massif Regional Nature Park where you can practice cycling, hiking, paragliding, tree climbing, canyoning, via ferrata...
Vimines is also located, by car:
- 45 minutes from Annecy
- 1 hour from Lyon and Geneva airports
- 15 minutes from Chambéry train station where the TGV reaches Paris in 3 hours.
