The space
Layout:
A first entrance on the ground floor, below the private parking, with large cupboard/wardrobe
A superb living room illuminated by beautiful large arched bay windows where you will find: => the lounge area with the traditional set: sofa, armchair, coffee table and TV. A wood-burning stove completes the décor (usable only in the cold season)=> the dining area with a large oak design table that can accommodate up to 8 people with its string of chairs with eclectic styles and colors!=> access to a separate toilet-
A large semi-professional open kitchen with everything you need including ultra-modern appliances (American refrigerator, steam oven, built-in coffee machine, dishwasher...) Access to the 1st floor is via a small, rather narrow wooden staircase.
On the 1st floor,
Here too, you will find an entrance (on the gate side) with a small covered garden furniture outside, and inside, a large office.
- A large master suite with its beautiful stone fireplace (not usable), its queen-size bed 160x200cm, its fully renovated private bathroom with shower, vanity unit and WC as well as its laundry dressing room with washing machine and dryer
On the 2nd floor, you will find 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with shower, vanity unit and WC:
A bedroom with a single bed 80x190 cm trundle with the possibility of installing it as a queen-size bed
A 2nd bedroom with queen-size bed 160x200cm, access to the balcony offering stunning views of the canal
Finally, on the 3rd floor, you will find an open dormitory room with two single beds in the huge converted and renovated attic also serving as a games room (kapla, duplo...)
Outside, in this beautifully flowered and wooded park, on the banks of the Thiers canal with its blue-green waters rich in water lilies, you will enjoy:
- Take advantage of the shade of the tall trees to enjoy the barbecues around the large round table
- dive from the pontoon to refresh yourself between two sunbathing sessions on the deckchairs (possibility to use the outdoor shower for those who prefer)
- take a boat ride (non-motorized), pedal boat or kayak and row to the nearby Lake Aiguebelette and its preserved islands!
Important remarks:
- The house has air conditioning only in the main living room as well as in the master suite on the 1st floor. The dormitory room does not have air conditioning, in case of a heat wave, it can be very hot
- The house is suitable for children, but not necessarily for the little ones (no railings at the pontoon, no barrier for stairs, especially in the dormitory) These must not be left unattended in unsecured areas.
- A DEPOSIT is required for each reservation.
Please note that, for your comfort:
- Bed linen is provided and installed on each bed
- One towel is provided per person
- Check-in and check-out times can be flexible (on request) except in case of cross-arrival and departure.
- The house has an internet connection with fiber
The neighborhood
The house is located on the edge of the D921 departmental road, which goes around the lake, so it is very easy to get to. So you will be close to:
-the magnificent Lake of Aiguebelette, a preserved natural lake with emerald green reflections, support for a wide variety of water activities (rowing, paddleboarding, canoeing, pedal boats...) – 5 minutes from the nearest beaches by car and a few rowing strokes by boat
- the city of Chambéry, the historic capital of Savoy, rich in a ducal past and a wide architectural heritage – 15 minutes by car.
-the city of Aix les Bains, Riviera of the Alps and Lake Bourget, the largest natural lake in France – 30 minutes by car.
- the Chartreuse Massif Regional Nature Park where you can practice cycling, hiking, paragliding, tree climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, etc. From 5 minutes by car.

Saint Alban de Montbel is also located, by car:
- 40 minutes from Annecy
- 50 minutes from Lyon and 40 minutes from its airport
- 1 hour from Geneva
- 5 minutes from Lépin-le-Lac station served by the TER and 20 minutes from Chambéry station where the TGV reaches Paris in 3 hours.
