The space
Completely renovated, the apartment retains all the charm of the palace of yesteryear with its high ceiling and very large window. It is arranged as follows:
You will enter directly into the LIVING ROOM in which you will have a CLOAKROOM, A LIVING ROOM AREA with sofa bed (easily convertible into a 140x190cm bed with a real mattress), armchair, coffee table, television, TV cabinet and a DINING AREA with a table and 3 chairs
A small separate and fully equipped KITCHEN will allow you to cook as at home (fridge-freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, filter coffee maker...)
Via a wooden staircase, you will then access:
The large BEDROOM furnished with:
=> A 160 x 200 cm queen-size bed, tables and bedside lamps
=> 2 large wardrobes
A BATHROOM with walk-in shower, vanity unit and mirror, toilet and washing machine

- The apartment has a WIFI FIBRE internet connection
- Bed linen and towels are provided and installed on the bed- Check-in and check-out times can be flexible (on request) except in case of crossed arrival and departure.- An internal blind allows the apartment to be darkened
PLEASE NOTE:
- The duplex is one and the same room, the bedroom is on an open mezzanine.
- The apartment does not have a private parking space. Paid parking on the street.
The neighborhood
The apartment is located a stone's throw from the heart of Aix-Les-Bains, so you will be:
in less than 10 minutes, Place Carnot for lunch on the terrace, at the Casino Grand Cercle to admire the sumptuous stained glass windows and Art Nouveau mosaics or try your hand at games of chance or at the floral park of the thermal baths (city labeled 4 flowers and golden flower) to rest in the shade of the tall trees...
in less than 15 minutes on foot, to the Chevalley thermal baths for your spa or spa afternoon or to the train station if you are travelling by train.
Aix-les-Bains, Riviera of the Alps, has been a holiday resort since the nineteenth century and offers an ideal location for a diversified tourist stay with its cultural and historical sites, thermal baths, spas, restaurants, casinos and its internationally renowned 18-hole golf course (club 1895) open all year round.
In addition, the magnificent Lake of Bourget so dear to the poet Lamartine, the largest natural lake in France, will allow you to entertain yourself with a wide variety of water activities (cruise, sailing, water skiing, rowing, paddle, boat rental without a license...)
You will also be close to:
the Bauges Massif Regional Nature Park where you can practice cycling, hiking, paragliding, tree climbing with the resorts of Savoie Grand Revard and Aillons-Margériaz – From 20 minutes by car.
the city of Chambéry, the historic capital of Savoy, with a rich ducal past and a wide architectural heritage – 25 minutes by car/10 minutes by train.
the city of Annecy, with its beautiful lake and charming old town looking like a little Venice – 30 minutes by car.

By car, by the Alpine motorway network:- 1 hour from Lyon and Geneva- 45 minutes from Grenoble - 30 minutes from Annecy
By train: its station is served by the TGV which leads to Paris in 3 hours
By plane:- 10 minutes from the small airport of Chambéry and 1 hour from the airports of Lyon or Geneva.
